Allowing the early instalment of moisture sensitive flooring installations in fast track building programmes.

A two-coat application system, the membrane can be used to isolate residual construction moisture. The system prevents moisture rising through the subfloor and causing adhesive failure and/or moisture ingression, deforming the floorcovering.

The product is pigmented red to allow visual control of uniformity in application. To promote adhesion of the Stopgap floor smoothing underlayment, a coat of Stopgap P131 Primer should be used.

A loose lay, impervious laminated sheet, designed to provide a moisture barrier to subfloors which are damp and to those which can not be prepared by traditional methods, due to surface contamination.

The sheet provides a sub-base for the installation of numerous vinyl, linoleum and rubber sheet floorcoverings. The loose lay system allows the easy removal of floorcoverings, leaving the surface in its original condition.

The nodules on the underside of the sheet create an airspace allowing ventilation of water vapour from damp subfloors into a dry wall or ventilated skirting.

Multiple sheets can be used in large areas, simply by butt jointing.

Description

Green Bag Powder Mixed with Stopgap 55 Acrylic Liquid

Absorbent and non-absorbent subfloors.

A fast setting, protein free floor smoothing underlayment. The cured product has a high strength making it suitable in areas subject to both light and heavy-duty traffic. The Stopgap 55 Acrylic Liquid is resistant to frost. The protein free composition makes it suitable for use in biologically sensitive areas. By thickening the mix it can be used to repair stairs and for ramping between floor levels.

A fast setting floor smoothing underlayment which has a rapid development of strength. Stopgap Green Bag mixed with latex is designed for application in situations subject to heavy-duty interior usage. The underlayment can be finished to a feathered-edge. Both Stopgap 114 and Stopgap 128 Latex mixes can be filled with Stopgap Graded Aggregate. Both Stopgap 114 and Stopgap 128 are resistant to frost.

A solvent free, ready to use, one part polyurethane adhesive used to secure a wide range of wood/timber flooring. High performance, it offers high bond strength and is quicker setting than traditional adhesives. It is non-flammable.

Where residual construction moisture or rising dampness may affect the installation, Styccobond B93 can be bonded directly to either Stopgap F75 or Stopgap F76 waterproof surface membranes.

The adhesive is moisture curing and allows the floor finishing process to take place after 6 hours on absorbent subfloors. This process will be extended for floors with little or no absorbency.

The adhesive is protected against biodegradation and is suitable for use over normal underfloor heating installations.
